What the Market Looks Like from the Driver’s Seat
Financial Literacy, One Ride at a Time
April is National Financial Literacy Month.
It’s dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of financial education and developing healthy money management skills.
For the last 90 days, I’ve been running a personal experiment. I’ve been driving for Uber. Working fewer than 20 hours a week, I’ve made a little over $6,000.
And I did in The Nourished Leader way.
But what’s been most interesting about this experience hasn’t just been the income. It’s been the lessons.
Every shift has been a real-time classroom in:
- Supply and demand
- Market behavior
- Behavioral economics
- Timing of capital
- Emotional regulation under financial pressure
- Micro-market analysis
You start to see patterns. You learn when to move, when to wait, and when to call it a day.
Money moves in rhythms.
Markets move in patterns.
And people move emotionally.
Uber just happens to be one of the clearest places to watch all three happen at once.
Heres is what i know - the best financial education doesn’t come from theory.
It comes from watching how money actually moves in the world.
